(Dunya News) – Two brothers were gunned down over a monetary dispute in Jinnah Colony here on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
The father of the slain persons told police that his son-in-law Jaffar killed his sons over a money dispute. He said his sons had to return money to Jaffar, which they failed to repay, leading a dispute between the two parties.
He added that elders of the area brought peace between the warring parties after his sons promised to return the debt at the earliest.
But, the accused, despite reconciliation, had grudge against my sons, and on Wednesday, the accused along with his accomplices shot them dead when they were sitting outside his house, he added.
Having being informed, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital. Police teams have been formed to reach out to the murderers.
