David Rush reclaims Guinness title by balancing a chair on his chin for 1 hour 20 minutes, after months of neck training and reclaiming record from rival.

NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Serial Guinness World Record holder David Rush has reclaimed his lost title by balancing a chair on his chin for an astonishing 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Rush, from Idaho, had previously set the record by balancing a chair on his chin for 1 hour and 8 minutes.

However, another balance expert later surpassed his achievement with a time of 1 hour and 19 minutes, taking the title.

Determined to win it back, Rush revealed on his website that he had spent months retraining, particularly focusing on rebuilding his neck endurance.

He recently also set a record by balancing a ladder on his chin for 19 minutes and 11 seconds.

Describing the challenge, Rush said the feat caused significant strain, as the jaw, neck and upper spine remain under constant pressure throughout the attempt.

Once the chair is in position, there is no moment of rest, and every passing second demands active control.

After reviewing the submitted evidence, Guinness World Records officially confirmed that the title has been reinstated in Rush’s name.
