MUMBAI (Dunya News) – India have registered a commanding 29-run victory over the United States in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Group A match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, riding on a blistering unbeaten half-century from captain Suryakumar Yadav and a disciplined bowling effort.
After winning the toss, the USA opted to bowl and made immediate inroads during the powerplay. India found themselves under sustained pressure as wickets fell regularly, reaching 77 for six inside 13 overs. Ishan Kishan scored 20, Tilak Varma added a brisk 25, while Axar Patel chipped in with 14, but the top order struggled to build partnerships against accurate USA bowling.
