KATHMANDU (Dunya News) - Renowned Nepali actor Sunil Thapa has passed away at the age of 68, foreign media reported on Saturday.
The veteran actor was rushed to Norvik Hospital after his health deteriorated. He was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state and was undergoing treatment when his condition suddenly worsened, leading to his death.
Hospital officials said that an ECG confirmed a heart attack as the cause of death.
Sunil Thapa was a prominent name in Nepali cinema and enjoyed a career spanning several decades. He worked extensively in Nepali films and also appeared in Bollywood and Bhojpuri productions.
The late actor featured in more than 300 Nepali films and also worked in several Hindi and Tamil projects, earning widespread recognition for his contributions to regional cinema.
