CM Maryam visits residence of Capt Muhammad Ali Shaheed to offer condolences

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also praised the patriotism and resilience of the martyr’s family, assuring them that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them during their time of loss.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Thursday visited the residence of Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi Shaheed to offer condolences and express sympathy to his family.

Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi embraced martyrdom on 22 August 2024 while bravely combating Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan in Kulpor, Balochistan.

Paying tribute to the officer’s courage and dedication, the chief minister said, “The sacrifices of our officers and soldiers in the fight against terrorism are commendable and will always be remembered.

“She lauded the Pakistan Army’s unwavering efforts to eliminate terrorism and safeguard the nation.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also praised the patriotism and resilience of the martyr’s family, assuring them that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them during their time of loss.

Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari, and Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman accompanied the chief minister during the visit.
