PSL 11: Islamabad United sign Devon Conway for staggering Rs63 million

Islamabad United has signed Devon Conway for PSL 11 with a Rs 63 million deal. Shadab Khan, Salman Irshad, and Andries Gous were retained with contracts worth Rs 70m, Rs 14m, and Rs 12m, respectively.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Islamabad United has signed New Zealand batsman Devon Conway for the 11th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).

The announcement was made on the team's official X account, welcoming Conway to the squad.

“The Kiwi star is ready to light up the #HBLPSL11 as our direct signing,” Islamabad United wrote in the post.

The 4th Fastest man to reach 1,000 runs in T20I cricket joins Islamabad United.

Conway, known for his explosive batting, is the fourth fastest player to reach 1,000 T20I runs. Reports suggested that the franchise has secured him with a contract worth Rs63 million.

In addition, Islamabad United retained three players for the season, including Shadab Khan, who was kept in the Platinum category with a retention fee of Rs 70 million.

Salman Irshad was retained in the Gold category for Rs14 million, while Andries Gous was kept in the Silver category for Rs12 million.
