Gold prices surge again, tola hits Rs529,000 in Pakistan

On the international market, gold per ounce once again crossed the $5,000 mark.

KARACHI (Dunya News) -Gold prices in Pakistan and international markets recorded a significant increase on Wednesday.

According to the All Pakistan Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs 14,800 to reach Rs 529,162. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 12,689, reaching Rs 453,671. Over the past two days, 24-carat gold per tola has surged by Rs 38,800.

On the international market, gold per ounce once again crossed the $5,000 mark. Today, it rose by $148 to reach $5,064 per ounce, marking an increase of $388 over the last two days.

Meanwhile, the price of silver in Pakistan also increased, with per tola rates rising by Rs 109 to reach Rs 9,255.
