QUETTA (Dunya News) - Railway authorities have announced that train services from Quetta to other parts of the country and Chaman will remain suspended today as well.
According to Pakistan Railways, the Bolan Mail operating between Karachi and Quetta has been suspended until February 12 due to the ongoing situation.
Railway officials said that the continued suspension of train services from Balochistan to inland areas and Chaman has caused losses exceeding Rs 3 million to the railways so far.
Meanwhile, the Dera Ismail Khan–Loralai National Highway, which connects Punjab with Balochistan, and the Quetta–Taftan National Highway have also remained closed for the past five days, further disrupting transportation and communication in the region.
Authorities have not yet announced a timeline for the full restoration of transport services.
