KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistani rupee remained stable in interbank trading on Tuesday as the U.S. dollar edged lower against the local currency.
Market data showed the dollar declined by one paisa, closing at Rs279.75 in the interbank market. The previous session had ended with the dollar at Rs279.76.
Currency dealers said the marginal movement reflected balanced demand and supply conditions, with no major market-moving developments during the session.
Experts noted that the rupee’s stability has been supported by steady remittance inflows and cautious importer demand, helping keep volatility in check.
