Fawad Chaudhry indicted in Islamabad fraud case

Islamabad court indicts former minister Fawad Chaudhry in fraud case; he pleads not guilty as magistrate summons witnesses and adjourns hearing until February 4.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The District and Sessions Court has formally indicted Fawad Chaudhry, who pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The court summoned prosecution witnesses for the next hearing.

Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard the case. The court also sought arguments on the acquittal plea filed by Fawad Chaudhry, who appeared before the court.

The complainant, Malik Muhammad Zaheer, also appeared along with his counsel, Farhan Manzoor. Further hearing in the case against Fawad Chaudhry has been adjourned until February 4.

It is noteworthy that the case against Fawad Chaudhry was registered at Aabpara Police Station.
