Former World Champion Muhammad Asif secures back-to-back wins at Asian Snooker Championship

Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif won his second consecutive match at the Asian Snooker Championship in Doha, while compatriot Rana Irfan Mahmood also claimed his opening victory.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Former world snooker champion Muhammad Asif continued his winning streak at the Asian Snooker Championship in Doha, Qatar, securing back-to-back victories on the second day of the tournament.

Asif defeated Bahrain’s Hisham Al-Saqer convincingly, 4-0 in frames, marking his second successive triumph and strengthening his campaign in the championship.

Another Pakistani contender, national runner-up and cueist Rana Irfan Mahmood, also began his tournament on a high note, defeating Chinese Taipei’s Lin Shou-Heng 4-1 in his opening match.

Officials and fans expressed optimism for Pakistan’s strong showing in the ongoing championship, highlighting both players’ performances as a positive sign for the nation’s snooker prospects.
