KAMOKE (Dunya News) – Two people were killed and five injured in a collision between a truck and a rickshaw on GT Road, near Chianwali, Dunya News reported here on Saturday. According to rescue sources, five people, including a woman, were injured in the accident. The accident occurred due to the truck's brake failure.
Muhammad Saleem, 50, died on the spot in the accident. The other citizen who died in the accident was identified as Ali Asghar, 50, a resident of Tariq Garden.
Rescue officials said Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to hospitals in Kamoke and Gujranwala.
Police have cordoned off the area and started investigation. The dead bodies have been sent to hospitals for medicolegal procedure.
