Gold prices record slight dip in local, global markets

The price of gold declined by $15 per ounce to settle at $5,082.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices slip in both international and domestic markets on Tuesday, while silver prices registered an increase.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold declined by $15 per ounce to settle at $5,082.

Following the global trend, gold prices in Pakistan also moved downward. The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,500 to Rs530,562, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,286 to Rs416,980.

In contrast, silver prices moved upward in the local market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs212 to reach a new high of Rs11,640, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs182 to Rs9,979.

Market analysts attribute the mixed trend to fluctuations in global bullion prices and changing investor sentiment.
