Gold, silver prices hit record highs in local and global markets

Gold and silver prices surged to historic highs as strong global trends pushed gold to Rs532,062 per tola and silver to Rs11,428 in Pakistan.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold and silver prices have created history by reaching record levels in both local and international markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs10,900, reaching an all-time high of Rs532,062 for the first time. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9,345 to Rs456,157.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $109 per ounce, touching a historic high of $5,097 for the first time.

Meanwhile, the price of 24-carat silver per tola climbed by Rs627 to a record high of Rs11,428. In the global market, silver prices rose by $6.27 per ounce, reaching an unprecedented level of $109.53.
