LAKKI MARWAT (Dunya News) — A tragic incident unfolded in Lakki Marwat district on Saturday when a young man died and seven others, including four women and three children, fell seriously ill after eating contaminated food in Wanda Samo.
According to police, the deceased was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other affected individuals were referred to City Hospital Bannu in critical condition.
Officials said that the police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the poisoning and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
The local community expressed shock at the incident, describing it as a heartbreaking event that underscores the importance of food safety.
