Rescue operation continues for ninth day in Gul Plaza, more human remains recovered

According to rescue officials, human remains were recovered from the third floor of the damaged structure.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The rescue operation at Gul Plaza continued for the ninth consecutive as search teams recovered more human remains from the debris of the collapsed building.

Rescue 1122 and Urban Search and Rescue teams are actively engaged in clearing the rubble and searching for missing persons. According to rescue officials, human remains were recovered from the third floor of the damaged structure and have been shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for DNA testing to confirm identities.

So far, authorities have confirmed the deaths of at least 71 people in the incident. Rescue sources say the operation is still ongoing, and there are fears that more bodies may be found as debris removal continues.

Despite the passage of several days since the incident, rescue teams remain on-site, working to remove rubble and locate any remaining victims.
