Gold and silver hit record highs in Pakistan markets

Gold and silver prices surged in Pakistan, reaching record levels, with local markets seeing significant jumps amid rising international bullion prices.

KARACHI (Dunya News) — Gold and silver prices climbed to record highs in both international and local markets on Friday.

In international bullion markets, the price of gold rose $91 per ounce, reaching $4,923. In Pakistan, the price of one tola of gold surged by Rs9,100, while 10 grams increased by Rs7,802. Local markets saw one tola of gold reach Rs514,662 and 10 grams hit Rs441,239.

Silver prices also increased, with one tola rising Rs372 to Rs10,275 and 10 grams climbing Rs319 to Rs8,809.

Traders said the rally reflects a combination of global price gains and strong local demand, pushing metals to all-time highs.
