SWABI (Dunya News) - In a rare medical occurrence, a woman in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has given birth to five babies simultaneously.
The unique incident took place at Bacha Khan Medical Complex in Swabi, where the woman delivered one son and four daughters. According to hospital authorities, all five newborns were born prematurely and have been placed under special medical care.
A hospital spokesperson said that the mother and babies are being provided with advanced medical facilities, while a dedicated team of doctors is continuously monitoring their health. Initially, both the mother and the newborns are reported to be in stable condition; however, due to premature birth, they require further medical attention.
Following the delivery, an atmosphere of joy prevailed at the hospital, and the family members expressed appreciation for the efforts of the doctors and medical staff.
Hospital administration stated that special arrangements and experienced medical teams have been deployed in such cases to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and the newborns.
