KARACHI (Dunya News) - Police claimed that a suspected street criminal was killed in an ‘encounter’, whereas his accomplice managed to escape in Malir City area here on Wednesday night.
The suspect has been identified as Muhammad Jaffar. He was involved in several cases of crimes, and wanted by police of several localities.
Malir City police were on a routine patrol when two outlaws riding a bike opened fire on law enforcers, which was returned in a befitting manner.
The shootout continued for sometimes. Later, police found a suspect dead. Weapons and looted valuables were recovered from the dead robber. The dead body was sent to hospital for medicolegal procedures. Further investigations was underway.
