GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - A major scandal involving the alleged misuse of authority and extortion has surfaced at the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in Gujranwala.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against several NCCIA officers and initiated legal proceedings against those involved. According to the FIR, the incident occurred on February 2, 2025, while the affected citizen had initially filed complaints on January 12.
After conducting an inquiry into the allegations, the FIA formally registered the case. The accused have been charged with kidnapping, torture, blackmail, and extortion.
An FIA spokesperson confirmed that the suspects include Aamir Hamza, Mujahid Ali, Shehroz, Allah Yar, Asim Mahmood, Usman Ali, and Nauman. The suspects allegedly pressured the victim by threatening to implicate him in false cases.
