Aleema Khan calls for nationwide protests on February 8

Aleema Khan has announced nationwide protests on February 8, alleging vote theft, police brutality against PTI supporters, and calling for the return of what she termed the people’s stolen mandate.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has announced a nationwide protest on February 8, claiming that people whose votes were “stolen” would take to the streets to demand their rights.

Speaking to the media after a court appearance, she said the entire country would shut down as citizens protest what she described as electoral injustice. She alleged that merely mentioning Imran Khan’s name triggers harsh reactions from authorities.

Aleema Khan claimed that even children were detained for chanting slogans in support of Imran Khan outside Adiala Jail. She further alleged that police personnel privately expressed support for Imran Khan but feared their senior officers.

She accused police of using force against PTI supporters during a rally on Adiala Road, alleging baton charges, arrests, and mistreatment of women. According to her, hundreds of police personnel were deployed to block the protest.

She said the party would continue its struggle, insisting that peace would only prevail once people received justice and their stolen mandate was restored.
