(Web Desk) - Guinness World Records holder David Rush has set a new world record for keeping the most balloons in the air for one minute, with the help of 11 other participants.
David Rush, who hails from the US state of Idaho, led a 12-member team during a trade show held in Salt Lake City. During the attempt, the team successfully kept 25 balloons from touching the ground for a full one minute, setting a new Guinness World Record.
Speaking after the achievement, David Rush said that some record attempts made with groups are relatively easy, while others are extremely challenging. He explained that team-based records can only be achieved when all participants perform simultaneously, accurately, and maintain their effort for the entire duration.
He added that teamwork and coordination were the key factors behind the success, and the collective effort of all participants made it possible to keep 25 balloons in the air for one minute.
