ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has warned that a single wrong click or careless post on social media could land citizens in jail.

The agency issued an important public advisory urging users to verify any post, news item or link before sharing it online.

According to the NCCIA, spreading content without proper verification falls under legal violations and can lead to serious consequences. The agency stressed that sharing unverified information or false news, particularly against the higher judiciary and state institutions, is a serious criminal offense under the law.
