(Web Desk) - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna were involved in a major car accident while returning home from the airport on Monday evening.
The incident took place near the Juhu area of Mumbai, where the couple was returning from abroad. A speeding Mercedes reportedly collided with an auto-rickshaw, causing it to lose control. The auto-rickshaw then hit Akshay Kumar’s security convoy and subsequently crashed into the couple’s car.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, saying the impact caused panic among people present at the spot. The auto-rickshaw driver and passenger were trapped under the vehicle for a few minutes. However, Akshay Kumar and his security team quickly rushed to their rescue and safely pulled them out.
Fortunately, all individuals involved in the accident were unharmed, and no serious injuries were reported.
The accident occurred just after the couple returned from a trip abroad, where they had gone to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
