KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the tragic fire at Gul Plaza in Karachi and has ordered an immediate inquiry into the incident.
The chief minister directed the Karachi Commissioner to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire and submit a detailed report. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and conveyed condolences to the affected families.
Murad Ali Shah also instructed that all injured individuals should be provided with the best medical treatment without any negligence.
He further ordered a complete inspection of the fire safety arrangements at Gul Plaza to verify whether fire safety regulations were being followed. If any negligence or carelessness is found during the investigation, strict action will be taken against those responsible.
CM Murad also ordered an immediate fire safety audit of all commercial buildings in Karachi to ensure strict enforcement of fire safety laws.
