During this visit, Afridi is scheduled to visit the residence of PTI worker Bilal Mehsud, who recently passed away in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area, to offer condolences and express sympathy to the family over the tragic incident.

Afridi had previously visited Karachi over the weekend, rallying PTI supporters in preparation for the party’s nationwide street movement. The Sindh government had initially approved a PTI rally at Bagh-i-Jinnah. However, citing delays in receiving the permit, the party announced a change in venue, opting to hold the gathering at one of the gates of Mazar-i-Quaid.

The last-minute change sparked unrest among supporters at Bagh-i-Jinnah, resulting in police shelling of the crowd. During his earlier visit, Afridi praised the people of Sindh for their warm welcome but criticized the provincial government, alleging it obstructed his convoy on the road from Hyderabad to Karachi.
