No internet disruption across Pakistan today, PTA clarifies

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has clarified that information regarding any disruption of internet services on 15 January (today) is incorrect and without factual basis.

The authority said the internet services across Pakistan remain stable and fully operational.

Routine submarine cable maintenance is ongoing and will not affect internet service, it said, adding PTA continues to monitor networks to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.

The PTA’s clarification aims to prevent misinformation and reassure internet users that connectivity will remain consistent despite ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
