UAE launches a $130 million startup accelerator with Creators HQ and 500 Global, boosting creators and digital businesses.

DUBAI (Syed Mudassir Khusnud) – The United Arab Emirates has unveiled a major initiative to boost the digital economy and content creation sector.

Creators HQ, in collaboration with global venture capital firm 500 Global, has launched a startup accelerator programme that will provide over $130 million in funding to creator-led business ventures.

This initiative marks the first structured programme of its kind in the UAE and the wider Middle East, aiming to provide content creators and digital entrepreneurs with capital, mentorship, and access to international markets. Participating ventures will receive support to scale operations, enter new markets, and adopt sustainable business models.

Empowering creators

Organisers say the programme is designed to transform creators from social media personalities into full-fledged digital entrepreneurs. The focus is on converting creative talent into structured businesses, digital products, and innovative services. The involvement of a global investor brings additional expertise and credibility to the initiative.

Experts highlight that such efforts position Dubai as a leading hub for the digital economy and creative industries in the region. The programme offers creators and entrepreneurs from diverse countries opportunities for growth, international exposure, and recognition on a global scale.
