KARACHI – The Pakistan Stock Exchange ended trading in the red on Wednesday, dealing a blow to investors and traders. The KSE-100 index fell by 1,381 points, closing at 182,569 points.
During the day, the index touched a high of 184,726 and dipped to a low of 182,369. Out of 562 listed companies, 90 saw their share prices rise while 352 experienced declines.
Trading activity remained brisk, with over 1 billion shares changing hands, valued at around Rs65 billion. Analysts say the downward trend reflects ongoing market pressures and cautious investor sentiment.
