Aleema Khan says PTI founder Imran Khan’s release is their priority

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, said on Tuesday that the public wants to hear from the party’s founder and that they will do whatever it takes to secure his release. “No one can stop us,” she said.

Speaking to the media at Factory Naka in Rawalpindi, Aleema Khan praised young PTI leaders, saying they have “buried old politics” and represent the future of Pakistan.

She singled out Sohail Afridi, saying he challenged fears in Karachi by traveling openly without a bulletproof vehicle, showing that the city’s people are peaceful.

Aleema Khan said PTI is spreading the founder’s message through social media, giving every Pakistani the chance to know what their leaders are doing for the country. She stressed that the people now decide the nation’s direction, not old political parties like PML-N and PPP.

She added that PTI follows the founder’s instructions closely and that leadership decisions are made with careful planning. Referring to recent instructions to Sohail Afridi, she said: “Get ready and start the street movement. Democracy belongs to the people. If you don’t mention the PTI founder, the people won’t see you.”

Aleema Khan said she and her team are committed to acting on the founder’s guidance and making sure the public hears his message loud and clear.
