(Web Desk) - Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo has publicly criticized US President Donald Trump, calling him the “worst human in the world,” during a red carpet appearance for the Golden Globe Awards.
Ruffalo, nominated for his outstanding performance in the HBO drama “Task”, wore a pin reading “Be Good” in memory of 37-year-old Reni Nicole Good, who was recently killed by US immigration officials.
Speaking to the media, Ruffalo expressed his inability to celebrate due to the ongoing troubling events in the United States. He strongly condemned President Trump, criticizing his policies and calling attention to violations of international law.
“This pin is especially for Reni Good and for all those living in fear and terror in the US,” Ruffalo said. He further clarified that his criticism does not reflect a lack of love for his country but highlights that the current situation does not represent the America he believes in.
Other actors attending the event also joined the protest by wearing pins with messages like “Be Good” or “ICE Out” to highlight the ongoing human rights concerns in the country.
