LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent its preliminary squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to the International Cricket Council (ICC), with adjustments allowed until January 31.
Sources indicate that the board can make changes to the squad without ICC approval until this deadline.
The initial list includes several potential key players, such as captain Salman Ali Agha, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, and Fakhar Zaman. Other prominent names on the list are Shadab Khan, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Khan, and Abrar Ahmed.
Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Salman Mirza are also included in the squad, along with Khawaja Nafees.
Additionally, reserve players could include Abdus Samad, Wasim Junior, and Usman Tariq.
The final squad selection will be confirmed after further reviews and consultations.
