MURREE (Web Desk) – Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin announced key initiatives in Murree under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, prioritizing quality facilities for citizens and tourists.
These include the launch of free mobile water vans and the inauguration of the WASA Murree office to modernize water supply and drainage systems. He said the new setup would improve civic services and ensure efficient service delivery.
Officials briefed him on ongoing and upcoming development projects, while he directed that all schemes be completed on a priority basis.
Meanwhile, City Traffic Police Murree launched a free vehicle recovery service to assist tourists and locals during breakdowns or accidents. Introduced on the chief minister’s instructions, the service uses modern recovery vehicles to ensure smooth traffic flow and emergency support.
Officials confirmed it will remain available across Murree and surrounding areas, with a recent tourist case cited as an example of its effectiveness.
