ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral ties and the evolving regional landscape.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the two leaders reviewed ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and Iran across multiple sectors and exchanged views on key regional developments. The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration in areas of mutual interest amid changing regional dynamics.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing trade, improving connectivity, and promoting people-to-people exchanges between the two neighbouring countries. They also agreed to continue close coordination to support regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
The foreign ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining regular high-level contacts and constructive dialogue to address shared challenges and deepen bilateral relations.
