Draft law approved for formation of constitutional court benches in Sindh

The constitutional benches will have separate offices established in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, and Larkana.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - A draft law for the formation of constitutional court benches in Sindh has been approved, Dunya News reported on Friday.

According to sources, Cases involving stay orders will be heard on a priority basis. The constitutional benches will have separate offices established in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, and Larkana.

The constitutional benches will aim to decide cases within six months, as far as possible.

The head of a constitutional bench will be given an additional monthly honorarium of Rs. 200,000.
