PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced the winter vacation schedule for summer zone and winter zone educational institutions across the province.
According to the Secretary of Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, educational institutions in the province’s summer zone will remain closed from January 1 to January 15, while educational institutions in the winter zone will remain closed from December 22 to February 28.
The winter vacation are announced to safeguard students, teachers, and staff during harsh winter conditions commonly experienced in mountainous regions.
It is worth noting that in Punjab, winter vacations will begin on December 23, 2025, and will continue until January 11, 2026. Government and private schools in Punjab will reopen on January 12.
Similarly, across Sindh, winter vacations will be observed from December 22 to December 31. During this period, all government and private educational institutions will reopen as usual from January 1.
