HARIPUR (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the youth as the heroes and builders of the nation, calling them the guarantee of Pakistan’s progress.
Addressing a ceremony where laptops were distributed among outstanding students, the Prime Minister said he was delighted to participate, adding that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a province of brave and patriotic people who have made great sacrifices for the country, ensuring peace. He stressed that history will always remember their contributions.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasised that if all four provinces develop together, Pakistan will become a great nation. “Through hard work, honesty, and brotherhood, Pakistan will achieve greatness,” he said.

— PMLN (@pmln_org) December 17, 2025Referring humorously to a microphone mishap, the Prime Minister remarked it reminded him of an incident where India’s Narendra Modi government was taught a lesson, adding that the victory on May 10 was Pakistan’s, achieved through the prayers and efforts of the nation and armed forces, enhancing Pakistan’s global standing.
He highlighted that 100 percent merit-based laptops were distributed to talented students, praising the resilience of Pakistan’s economy, which has stabilized after challenges in 2023 and 2024.
Shehbaz Sharif announced the establishment of a “Danish School” in Haripur, including a separate campus for female students, and the construction of Haripur Bridge. Outstanding students were honored with the Guard of Honor.
He concluded by stating that national unity will restore Pakistan’s lost glory, and Pakistani children will be sent abroad for AI training to accelerate the country’s development.
