SYDNEY (Dunya News) - The involvement of India in the Bondi Beach incident emerged after some more evidence surfaced.
The shooters – Naveed Akram and Sajid Akram – who are involved in the deadly attack on a Jewish event at the Bondi Beach in Sydney have been identified as Indian descent, it was revealed by their friends and neigbours.
According to Indian media reports, Australian intelligence agencies have formally contacted the Indian government regarding the Sydney incident.
Australian intelligence agencies reportedly reached out to Indian authorities to seek information and conduct inquiries concerning the terrorists involved in the attack.
It is noteworthy that a friend of one of the terrorists involved in the Sydney incident had earlier stated that Naveed had links to India.
The friend further claimed that the terrorist Naveed’s father was Indian, while his mother was Italian.
The attack resulted in the deaths of 16 individuals, with 40 others injured.

Among the attackers, one was killed by police gunfire, while the second was apprehended and is currently being treated in the hospital.
In the aftermath of the attack, Israeli and Indian media outlets and social media accounts attempted to link the incident to Pakistan, spreading misleading propaganda.
Israeli newspaper “Jerusalem Post” falsely reported the attackers as Pakistani, while pro-India social media accounts also accused Pakistan of being involved in the incident.
However, it has now emerged that the attackers, identified as Naveed Akram and Sajid Akram, have no Pakistani affiliation.
The attempt by Indian media and social media accounts to shift blame towards Pakistan has now been thoroughly discredited, and the truth about the attack is coming to light.
