Speaks at Red Sea Film Festival 2025, prompting laughter, applause and an affectionate rebuttal

(Web Desk) - Salman Khan downplayed his own acting abilities while addressing audiences at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025, prompting laughter, applause and an affectionate rebuttal from fans during an interaction session.

The Bollywood star admitted he does not consider himself a strong actor and suggested emotional scenes often trigger laughter rather than tears.

Speaking at the festival, Salman said: “Acting has also left this generation. So I don’t think I am a particularly great actor.

“You can catch me doing anything, but you can’t catch me acting. I can’t do it. I simply do what I feel in the moment. That’s all.”

The host invited the audience to respond and they unanimously disagreed with Salman’s self-assessment.

The Dabangg actor then added, “Sometimes when I cry, I know you guys laugh at me.”

A fan quickly responded, “No, we cry with you.”
