Four killed in Karachi road accidents

At least four persons lost their lives in two separate road accidents involving heavy vehicles in Karachi on Friday.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least four persons lost their lives in two separate road accidents involving heavy vehicles in Karachi on Friday. Rescue officials data reveals that heavy vehicles have claimed 247 lives across Karachi during current year.

According to details, the first accident occurred at the Super Highway where a car collided with a truck due to over-speeding, killing a couple and their son one the spot while another child sustained injuries.

The second accident occurred in Bangali Para area of Korangi where a 12-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a speeding water tanker. The deceased was identified as Farhan. The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi attended Farhan’s funeral prayer and offered condolences to the family.

Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami has announced stage a sit-in protest today at Numaish Chowrangi. Speaking to the media, the Karachi Ameer said that citizens are receiving dead bodies every day, and the government’s criminal silence is shameful.
