ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The President of Indonesia will arrive in Pakistan on Monday for a two-day official visit, according to diplomatic sources.

The visit is taking place on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who extended the offer during his recent trip to Indonesia.

The engagement aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation across political, economic, defence, cultural and people-to-people sectors. A high-level delegation will accompany the Indonesian President, highlighting the importance Jakarta places on its ties with Islamabad.

Diplomatic officials confirmed that the Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during the visit. A meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari is also expected. Senior military leadership is likely to call on the visiting dignitary as well, reflecting the defence component of the bilateral relationship.
