PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities have intensified operations against illegally settled Afghan nationals, with police in Mansehra issuing a one-week deadline for undocumented migrants to voluntarily leave Pakistan.
According to officials, all Afghan citizens residing without valid documents have been directed to exit the country by December 11. Failure to comply will result in strict legal action, police warned.
The Mansehra district police stated that the decision is part of an expanded province-wide crackdown, ordered to be carried out on an urgent basis. Raids and verification drives are already underway across multiple districts to identify illegal residents.
Officials further cautioned that local citizens who provide accommodation to undocumented individuals will also be held accountable. Cases will be registered against house owners renting property to unregistered or illegal Afghan migrants, the police emphasized.

The move comes amid ongoing security and administrative concerns over illegal stay, with authorities determined to ensure compliance with immigration laws.
