(Web Desk)- Actress Fiza Ali hit back at Nida Yasir’s statement about food delivery riders, which sparked a storm on social media.
Over the past few years, food delivery apps in Pakistan have provided significant convenience to people’s everyday lives.
However, on the other side the life of delivery riders is very difficult, who work in extreme heat, heavy rain, suffocating traffic, and often dangerous conditions. Despite all this, many of them still do not receive wages that match their hard work.
In such a context, Nida Yasir’s remarks were not well received by the public. During a discussion, she said, “These riders always create problems. They never have change and try to take extra money from people.” Her statement immediately drew criticism online.

She further added that people should always keep the exact amount ready, and that it is also the responsibility of delivery riders to keep sufficient change with them.
Fiza Ali, however, did not remain silent. She openly responded, saying, “These riders bring our expensive orders to us through dark nights, harsh weather, and difficult conditions, yet we forget to respect them. They are humans too. They are someone’s sons, someone’s fathers, and perhaps the only breadwinners of their families. Respecting them is essential.”
Fiza’s compassionate stance won the hearts of many. People came out in large numbers supporting her viewpoint and praising her.
