RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s security forces conducted two successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing seven terrorists associated with an India-backed militant outfit, the ISPR said on Tuesday.

According to the military’s media wing, six militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan. In the second action, carried out in Spinwam on confirmed intelligence, one terrorist was eliminated after a brief exchange of fire.

The ISPR stated that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants. The group had been involved in multiple attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and the targeted killing of innocent civilians.

The spokesperson added that the ongoing counterterrorism drive under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” is moving full steam ahead, aiming to root out foreign-backed terrorism and restore long-term stability in the region.
