Speaking to the media here, the minister told the Afghans that they would be sent back under all circumstances

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Monday that Afghans were once our guests, but they are no longer our guests now and advises them to leave.

Speaking to the media here, the minister told the Afghans that they would be sent back under all circumstances.

He said that a few days ago, the people who attacked the FC (Frontier Corps) Headquarters turned out to be three Afghans. The attacker in the Islamabad district court was also an Afghan national.

“Afghans are involved in all the attacks happening in the country,” he added.

Naqvi stated that the process of deporting illegal Afghan nationals is ongoing nationwide. “We are successfully sending back illegal Afghan refugees. We must ensure the deportation of all illegal Afghan migrants. Every decision of the federal government must be implemented. We cannot afford more explosions,” he said.

The interior minister “requested” illegal Afghan refugees to return to their homeland with dignity. “If someone is sent back and then returns illegally, they will be arrested and punished. We are dismantling Afghan camps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he continued.

He said that they know clearly who is behind terrorism and who is orchestrating it, and urged the Afghan Taliban government to rein in the terrorists.

WARNS SOCIAL MEDIA OF CRACKDOWN

The interior minister said that 90% of the news circulating on social media is false. “It cannot be allowed that anyone posts anything they want on social media. There will be a crackdown on fake news,” he maintained.

He said that on national media, airing false news results in PEMRA notices. “Those who spread false news are not journalists. Freedom of expression exists, but spreading fake news cannot be allowed.”

Naqvi declared that no one will be allowed to humiliate others on social media. “There will be no compromise on national security. Someone sitting in London is making nonsense claims about issues within state institutions. If you have proof, bring it forward.”

He warned “those sitting abroad; let me tell you: you will be returning very soon. You will be brought back here and will have to answer for everything.”

Minister Naqvi said that TV channels are regulated under a system, which is why they cannot broadcast freely. “If any TV channel airs incorrect news, it is fined. Action will definitely be taken against those spreading fake news,” he concluded.
