ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty arrived in Islamabad on Saturday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Senior officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs received him at the federal capital, marking the beginning of a visit that highlights the deep-rooted and historic ties between the two nations.

The ministry affirmed that the engagement is expected to reinforce cooperation and further develop the longstanding partnership between Islamabad and Cairo.
During his two-day stay, Dr Abdelatty will hold a bilateral meeting and delegation-level talks with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The discussions will encompass a comprehensive review of the full spectrum of bilateral relations, covering political, economic, security, and cultural cooperation.
Both sides will also exchange views on pressing regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in Gaza. Pakistan and Egypt have maintained a shared stance on humanitarian concerns and regional stability, and the talks are anticipated to explore collaborative approaches to ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
The Foreign Office emphasised that the visit demonstrates both countries’ commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership while expanding cooperation in multiple sectors.
