RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Army successfully completed Special Forces training for Iraqi Army contingents at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), spanning from 24 September to 29 November 2025.
The programme, designed to enhance counter terrorism expertise and operational readiness, brought together troops from both nations in an intensive training environment.

The graduation ceremony took place on 29 November 2025 and was attended by senior officials of the Pakistan Army alongside military representatives from Iraq. The presence of both delegations underscored the importance placed on military cooperation and capability development between the two countries.
The training curriculum focused on building core competencies in counter terrorism operations, including tactical drills, specialised mission planning, and integrated combat preparedness. Trainees showcased exceptional professionalism, operational discipline, and dedication throughout the course, reflecting the depth of collaboration between the Pakistan Army and the Iraqi Armed Forces.
