ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Assembly session was adjourned on Friday due to a lack of quorum.
As soon as the assembly session began, opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) member Mahboob Jan pointed out the quorum.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had to suspend the proceedings and adjourned the session until Monday at 5 pm.
The government and its allied parties have a total of 240 members in the National Assembly, while at least 84 members must be present in the House for the quorum to be fulfilled.
