ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has declared PTI leader Shibli Faraz a proclaimed offender in two cases after he repeatedly failed to show up in court.
The cases relate to the February 28 attack on the Judicial Complex. Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the proceedings, where the court noted that Faraz had been missing from hearings despite several opportunities. Due to his continuous no-shows, the court decided to declare him an absconder.
Meanwhile, former law minister Raja Basharat and other accused appeared before the court. Lawyers Sardar Muhammad Masroor Khan and Zahid Bashir Dar represented PTI leaders and workers.
After marking the attendance of those who appeared, the court adjourned the hearing.
Both cases against PTI leaders are registered at Ramna Police Station.
