LAHORE (Dunya News) – The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, promising a thrilling tournament across eight top cricket venues.
India will stage five matches, while Sri Lanka will host three, according to Indian media reports.
Venues
India’s venues include Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Eden Gardens in Kolkata, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Group Stage
The tournament will feature four groups. Group One includes Pakistan, India, the United States, Netherlands, and Namibia. Group Two features Sri Lanka, Australia, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman. Group Three comprises England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Italy, while Group Four includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, UAE, and Canada.

Semi-Finals and Final
The semi-finals will be held on 4 March, split between Kolkata and Colombo. The final is scheduled for 8 March, with venues likely to be either Ahmedabad or Colombo, creating anticipation for one of cricket’s most intense showdowns.
Trophy Tour
Ahead of the tournament, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy tour will commence on 1 December, offering fans a chance to see the iconic trophy before the matches begin.
